He was jealous of the dog getting all his wife's attention . . . so he decided to poke the poor animal!
Jonathan Medley (39),from Alabama in America, was bust by cops and charged with animal cruelty, Metro reported.
He felt his wife was neglecting him and spending all her time on their Shih Tzu, Buster.
Quoting the New York Daily News, the report said his wife thought he was having an affair, and hid a camera to catch him. She was shocked when she discovered his nyatsi was in fact their pet dog!
The tiny two-year-old dog was injured, but he's expected to recover.
