Premier League legend Frank Lampard appears to have been snapped out on a last-minute Christmas shopping spree - at POUNDLAND.
Shoppers looked on in disbelief as the former Chelsea star perused the toiletries aisle at the Fulham store on Christmas Eve.
The 37-year-old now rakes in a whopping £3.8million a season as a midfielder for New York City FC but is clearly still a bargain hunter at heart.
Eliot Gregory was picking up some last minute supplies when he spotted the 37-year-old footballer, who was with his two daughters.
Arsenal fan Eliot said: "I was on my way out when I spotted him.
"He didn't have that much stuff in his basket but he was having a browse.
"I'm not sure what he bought or how much he spent, but he was standing next to that one aisle for a while.
"He was with two little girls, who I think were his daughters. They were running around the other aisles.
"Not that many people were paying attention to him. The shop wasn't empty and he's got quite a recognisable face.
"I'm a big football fan. It was 100 per cent Frank Lampard."
This isn't the first time Lampard has been spotted trawling around a bargain basement store.
He was also snapped at a Poundland in Northern Ireland in January 2012, when he splashed £15 on batteries, peanuts and crisps.
