BLOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD BUT NO BODY!

A MYSTERIOUS pool of blood has residents of Lindelani squatter camp fearing the worst.

Residents said they woke up yesterday and found the blood in the middle of the street.
Next to it lay a pair of men’s shoes and a bloodied knife . . . but there was no body!
Puzzled residents said they didn’t know whose blood it was or where the body could be.
They called Benoni cops, who told them there was nothing they could do.
They then contacted Daily Sun.
Community leader Jan Mthimunye said residents searched for a body in the nearby bush but didn’t find anything.
“They only saw tyre marks on the ground and speculated that a car took the body away.
“It looks like the victim was stabbed several times until the knife broke. He or she must have sustained serious wounds because they bled profusely.
“We found the knife in two pieces lying next to the blood,” Jan said. “We appeal to any residents who have information to inform us. Strange things are happening in this area.”
The blood stains were found near dilapidated buildings of a TB centre that is no longer in use.
Some residents believe it is a sign of bad luck.
“Every now and then people die here. It’s a sign that the ancestors have turned their backs on us and we must do something to beg for their forgiveness.
“We appeal to the residents to come together and pray for the evil spirit that has engulfed this area to go away,” said resident Boas Njongo.
Sergeant Connie Moalusi said the incident was never reported and that they were not aware of it.
