They prayed intensely for someone to come and help them out, but it was a weekend and there was no-one. The two Nuns were trapped in a lift of Marist Sister House in Rome, for three days without food or drink, due to power failure.
News sources say they were discovered by a cleaner, with the help of the police.
The police said they called out and heard the Nuns voices from the elevator and quickly moved to let them out.
They were taken to the hospital for treatment after they were rescued.
Maybe God just wanted to get their attention to fast by force.
