Singer turned pastor and founder of Household of God Church International Ministries, Chris Okotie turned 57 today, June 16.
Born Christopher Oghenebrorie Okotie in 1958 to parentsFrancis Idje and Cecilia Okotie, in Ethiope-West, Delta State, he attended Edo College, Benin City and later obtained a law degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He became a born again Christian abandoning his pop music career for bible school and became a pastor soon after.
Pastor Okotie is known to be one of Nigeria's most successful pastors and also one of the most controversial.
The prominent pastor has definitely come a long way and we at Pulse celebrate with him as he marks the beginning of a new year today.
