MORTUARY MUTHI SHOCK!

JUNIOR workers at a funeral parlour have made a gruesome discovery. The bodies of two women, aged 69 and 96 were allegedly discovered by the workers at the Greyville branch of Doves Funerals on Monday.

The dead women’s private parts, including their breasts, were allegedly missing.
Sazi Mhlongo, the president of the South African Traditional Healers Association, said he believes the body parts were removed for witchcraft purposes.
He said it’s possible that some of the funeral parlour’s employees are working for an evil inyanga who buys body parts from them.
Mhlongo said what angers them the most is that izinyanga are often blamed for such incidents.
“Muthi made from dead bodies can never bring good luck. That kind of muthi is used to destroy an enemy.
“That is not healing. That is witchcraft,” he said. “Izinyanga are not involved in such incidents. People who hide under the umbrella of being an inyanga are performing evil deeds. Leave us out of this.”
Mhlongo said they were planning to call a media briefing to tell the world that real izinyanga are not murders.
Sources said six directors at the funeral parlour have been suspended.
Refiloe Kgoale, the marketing manager at Doves Funerals, said they are doing everything to prevent a similar incident from happening in the future.
“There are questions that I can’t answer, but I confirm that six employees have been suspended. The matter is still under investigation.”
She said the victims’ families have asked not to reveal their identities, saying they wanted to deal with the matter privately.
Captain Thulani Zwane said no arrest has been made but the investigation is continuing.
