MASHONISA SAVES PASTOR'S LIFE!

The accused Pastor and his wife, wives always sticking with their husbands in times of trouble.
A MASHONISA woman saved a pastor from death after a husband accused the pastor of sleeping with his wife.

Pastor Goodwell Manze said the man came to his house and told him to pay up – or be killed by a crowd.
BUT THE MASHONISA LENT HIM THE LIFE-SAVING R2 500 RANSOM PLUS R1 250 INTEREST.
Now the unhappy pastor from Ekurhuleni’s Ramaphosa squatter camp in South Africa says he’s lost his dignity in the community where he preaches the word of the Lord.
And it’s all for something he never did!
Goodwell (42) said his shame and horror began after he bought a beef stew for his dinner for R50 from a woman churchgoer, as his wife was visiting her parents in the Eastern Cape.
When the woman went to his two-room shack to collect her cash, her husband saw her there.
“Her husband entered my shack and accused me of sleeping with his wife, who was sitting on the couch waiting for her money,” said Pastor Goodwell.
Then the man beat his wife, threw her on the floor and stamped on her.
“I stood by helplessly as the woman cried in pain, telling her husband she had never cheated,” said Goodwell.
“He was so angry I couldn’t say a word to him to spare his wife,” he said.
The pastor said the man grabbed his phone and brought it back the next day when he came with a crowd.
“He told them I must pay lobola for sleeping with his wife.
“When he demanded R20 000 I pleaded with him until it came down to R2 500. A woman mashonisa lent me the cash as I didn’t have any on me,” he said.
) Goodwell’s wife, Anna Manze (36), said her man is a faithful man of God and never cheats.
“We help this family by buying them food and giving them money. I can’t believe this man accused my husband of sleeping with his wife,” she said.
) The assaulted wife and her man were unwilling to speak to the SunTeam. The wife said: “If you want me to tell you what really happened, go to the police station where you will get the full information.”
) Goodwell said cops gave him a protection order and referred the matter to a Small Claims Court, where the pastor and the husband appeared yesterday.
