Kenneth Kaunda celebrates 91st birthday quietly.

CHESWA Silwizya says her father, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, is well and relaxing at home in readiness for his birthday today, which will be celebrated quietly. Dr Kaunda, who was discharged from Lusaka Trust Hospital on Saturday, after undergoing routine medical check-ups turns 91 years today.

Cheswa said his father would have a “quiet birthday celebration” at home to avoid stressing himself. “My father is very well, he is relaxing at home and we are going to have a quiet birthday celebration for him at home.

Only a few family friends will be invited to attend the event at home,” said Cheswa. Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Yang Youming said Dr Kenneth Kaunda was special and meant a lot to China and the Chinese.
