“And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them loose him and let him go”.John 11:44
In the preceding chapter; John 10:10 Jesus said “I came that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.” Many Christians have given their lives to Christ but they are still bound with the grave cloth of limitations, retrogression, religion, traditions, legalism etc.
There are many Christians whose head still have napkins, which obscures their spiritual vision, limits their spiritual sight and narrows down the range of their comprehension of the great purpose of their calling.
Jesus could have loosed Lazarus by Himself, but He engaged the efforts of those who were around there to loose him.
Jesus could have loosed Lazarus by Himself, but He engaged the efforts of those who were around there to loose him.
Even as Christ said to those who witnessed the raising of Lazarus, so He is saying to you today concerning every new believer who comes forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face with a napkin “Loose him and let him go”. Don’t bind him with a bunch of rituals, man-made doctrines, dogmas and complicated human commandments.
The act of raising Lazarus from the dead, points to the person of Christ as the resurrection and the life.
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection (Rom. 6:5).
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection (Rom. 6:5).
QUOTE: Freedom from satanic bondage becomes a reality when the Master issues a command.
WORD OF PRAYER: Father in the name of Jesus, let every grave cloth and limitations setting me back be loosened from my life now, in Jesus name. Amen.
