HUGE HELL HOLE OF DEATH!

MANY people have disappeared without a trace and residents believe a big hole has been swallowing them.

Residents in Lehae, south of Joburg told Daily Sun a stench comes from the bottom of the hole and they believe there could be many bodies lying there.

Alwell Radebe, the chairman of the community policing forum, said he went to the hole with the cops three weeks ago.

They saw a yellow string hanging into it and there was a terrible smell coming from the bottom.

“We suspect there are many bodies.

“I deal with many cases where residents report loved ones missing, and some of them have never been found,” said Alwell.

“We are appealing to the government to do something about this hole. Maybe they can close it up with large rocks.

“A person can slip into it while walking because you can’t see it until you’re close to the edge.”

Some residents said the spirits of dead people were haunting the area around the hole.

“The spirits are dangerous. They can lure people into the hole,” said one resident.

When the SunTeam recently visited the hole, there was fresh black ash next to it, indicating something had been burned there.

Amanda Mcwilikazi said her brother, Mxolisi Quiza, had been missing since February.

“We don’t know what happened to my brother. We have been to mortuaries and hospitals with no success.

“We opened a case with the police as well,” she said.

“His disappearance has affected my parents a lot. My mother has not been herself since he vanished.”

Police spokesman Captain Mbulaheni Netshivhodza said they were not aware of the hole.

He said they will talk to the municipality to see if something can be done.
