PEOPLE had been telling the young woman about her cheating man, but she didn’t seem to mind.
But on Saturday night she’d finally had enough.
She went to the house of one of the taxi boss’ many nyatsis.
When she found them asleep in bed, she took her revenge.
Residents of KwaNokuthula phase 2 in Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape said they were woken by the horrible screams of a man in great pain.
The wealthy taxi boss had been stabbed right through the left cheek of his backside with a long pole. She must have used every muscle in her body, because the two metre-long fence pole, described as a koevoet or umgqala, had gone through the bottom of his butt-cheek, came out just below his back and ended up near his neck.
A witness who lives nearby told Daily Sun the taximan owns at least four taxis.
“He has a lot of money and is a playboy,” said the witness.
“She went to the woman’s house armed with an axe, but then she grabbed the umgqala and stabbed him in the bum.
“She walked out without harming the woman in the bed with him,” said the witness.
He said the taximan was in terrible pain and nobody tried to take out the steel rod.
“The people didn’t know what to do so they took pictures of his bum to post on social networks,” he said.
“It was an ugly scene to watch, even though there was not a lot of blood.
“An ambulance arrived and took him away.”
He said the suspect was arrested but he had seen her back in the community on Tuesday.
“I heard the man is still in hospital in Port Elizabeth.”
Captain Bernadine Steyn said: “No criminal case has been reported to KwaNokuthula police of a man assaulted with a koevoet.”
